Similar to yesterday, I spent half the weekend running errands and doing personal things, and the other half catching up with readings. But I also managed to fit in some case-writing time today, which I will take as a win!!
Standards I Read Today
- First things first, I finished the second half of Chapter 7 for tax which I left off yesterday.
- I swear I read CSAE 3416 in its entirety, but it was so boring I’ve already forgotten what it’s about.
- CAS 260 was about what to communicate to TCWG. It was pretty short, but not a lot of useful information.
- I took notes on the introduction, objective, and definitions for CAS 450 before heading out for my daily walk.
- Griffith et al: I was planning to read this article on the plane on Tuesday, but obviously didn’t have time. And tbh it’s not really a high priority for me, since it’s not a standard, more of an article to supplement understanding. It was actually somewhat interesting. If I had all the time in the world and wasn’t pressured to read this for the sake of passing a course, I might’ve even enjoyed it.
Cases I Wrote Today
I tried writing the PL case under 2.5 hours today. Because we had to go out for dinner, I didn’t end up getting around to issue 4 (2021 tax issues, like the car, golf dues, loan to Brielle, etc). But I feel ok with my response. I’m hoping my responses are enough for an RC.
